A seat at the table

When Mary of Bethany sat at the feet of Jesus, she took the posture of a disciple, a place her culture had not reserved for her. And Jesus defended her right to be there: she has chosen the better part, and it will not be taken from her.

Every woman who has ever wondered whether serious study of God's Word was meant for her has her answer in that room in Bethany. The invitation is not grudging. It is the better part.

The Study Room is our attempt to set that table again, in this generation, for the women of our time.
